In addition to being recognized by Atlanta Magazine as one of Atlanta's top Realtors®, Merle is proud to have received the Phoenix Award for achieving twenty consecutive years of million-dollar production.
In 2005, Merle was chosen from among 2,000 metro Atlanta Keller Williams agents for the Professionalism Award, which recognizes the individual who best exemplifies Keller Williams’ values and culture.
In 2006, Merle was selected as the Keller Williams Southeast Regional Cultural Icon of the Year.
Merle trains and mentors other Realtors in the Atlanta area. She is a charter member of Keller Williams Realty, and an active member of both the International Club of Atlanta and the Roswell Women’s Club. She energetically participates in fund raising for KW Cares, a Keller Williams charity that gives back to the local community; Habitat for Humanity; and Vision Atlanta’s Camp Grace, a camp for at-risk children and youth.
Merle has lived in metro Atlanta most of her life, attending Decatur High School and earning a bachelor’s degree from Emory University. Her background includes experience in the fields of education, public relations, special events planning and human resources. Before finding her own “home” at Keller Williams, Merle worked for Merrill Lynch (now Prudential) and Coldwell Banker.
